11.5.07 Finally home for a while

Hello all.
Back from another exciting journey again! I met up with some knitter friends old and new this past weekend at Graves Mountain Lodge!

We started fires of many kinds. Some of us learned that fires cause some smoke whether or not the damper is positioned correctly.
Some of us learned new ways to use some old words.
Some learned to appreciate whether or not there are bears in the woods. Some of us learned to spin a yarn and may or may not have liked it.
Of course we visited Carodan Farm Wool Shop and came back with a boot full of loot!

In all it was a wonderful weekend with lots of apples. Thanks for inviting me!

Pretty scenery. Sound like a nice fun relaxing time. By the way, did you use the term “boot” before you went to England?

Looks like a fantastic time was had by all! What beautiful scenery. You will need a vacation to get over all this travelling!

What a fun blog you have. I am just getting into knitting and so your site was fun to find.
